6-102 was the second substation built by the Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1 to provide better protection for the western end of the fire district.

The station is located at 631 Route 306 in the Ladentown section of Ramapo.

Construction of this station began in 1998.

6-102 is dedicated to the memory of Firefighter Gregory Sikorsky, a Hillcrest volunteer and FDNY fireman, who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001 while operation at the World Trade Center.

The station houses 6-1500, 6-ATV, and 6-Patrol 2.
